Bouquet Riot | Publication

Bouquet Riot, a publication about the re-contextualization of bouquets and flowers for the 21st century. I did original research and wrote a 26 page essay about how the traditional practice of giving flowers could the re-purposed for the 21 century of lightning fast communication. This essay was then re-fitted as a publication with original art, photography and illustration, including the flower lettering created below. At the night of the senior show visitors could choose flowers for a free custom bouquet using the publication as a guide. My team of helpers and myself then created bouquets for the audience, it was a great experience and a way for the audience to get a live example of the process and get comfortable with the idea of giving flowers using my new standards.
